Summer in the Greek Islands

Island hopping in Greece
I’ve dreamt of visiting Greece for years, and finally this summer I got to experience a place like no other. I’ve been lucky enough to see many incredible places across the world, but Greece stands out as one of my favourites for so many reasons.. it’s a place I plan to come back and visit every European summer, because I just can’t get enough of it..
We flew into Athens and spent one night there before catching the morning ferry to our first island> Mykonos..
We watched the sunset over Mykonos from a rooftop on the first night before wandering the streets to have a big spread of everything greek πŸ˜›
We stayed at Mykonos Blanc resort

Next stop was > Ios
I always thought of Ios as the Island of party and was blown away when we quickly seen the beauty of this Island and how much more there is to Ios
We stayed at Agalia Luxury Suites for 4 nights, if you can’t stay there I’d recommend at least visiting the restaurant there, such good food & the best Espresso martinis!

We spent our nights out at The Lost Boys Bar, owned by a lovely couple- Reece & Caz who took us out exploring the island and showed us their secret spots they found while exploring during the summers.
Certainly check this bar out!

3rd Island on our list was Milos
Milos didn’t have any luxury accomodation & sure was the island of adventure..
We spent all our days riding around on our scooter finding beautiful coastlines and coves to swim and spend the days in.
Out of the islands this one would be in my opinion the most naturally beautiful, its much more quieter and for those who want to adventure more.

4th Island> SANTORINI
ahhhh Santorini, I think anyone who imagines visiting Greece always pictures themselves on the cliffside town of Oia.
We spent 4 nights in Santorini & were lucky enough to be hosted by Chromata & Charisma Suites.. And to make it even better my Twin Sisters ELSA joined us here to travel for the next 2 weeks while she had a university break!
Surrounded by my love, twin & a few of my best friends in the magic of Santorini- what a dream!
We spent most our days in the town of Oia, taking pictures in the streets and lazying by the pool.
Charisma suites invited us out for the day with their yacht company- Santorini Yachting Club. We sailed around the islands of Santorini on a private yacht and enjoyed Champagne and lunch on board.

Lastly we visited the Island of Zakynthos!!
I’ve dreamt of sitting on this cliff side for years, and wondered if it would be more or less beautiful in real life, and I can confidently say it is SO much more incredible in real life!
We flew from Santorini to Athens and then connected to Zakynthos, This is the easiest way to get there!
We found a place to stay on booking.com which was out of the town and up on the hill with beautiful ocean views, it was quiet and even had a kitchen so we could put elsa to work on making us the best breakfast spread! πŸ˜›
We took our hire car over to a nearby island to visit the Melissani Cave & a boat trip to visit Shipwreck beach.

I really like this white crochet top. You posted a similar one from Nakd. Could you tell me the actual brand it is from or where I can find it online?

  3. I’m going to Greece this summer and looking at your incredible photos has me so excited. You are so unbelievably talented. A couple questions…Where in Milos were those photos taken? That spot looks amazing. Also, to get to Zakynthos did you fly in and out of Athens? Thanks so much!

  6. I can’t stop watching all those pictures! I’ve been to Santorini last year and to Zakynthos (and Sithonia) this year. Loved it as well and made amazing pictures too, but the way the two of you captured it is just so amazingly beautiful. I love it!
You should try (the beaches of) Sithonia as well!

  8. I was in Zakynthos with my boyfriend in June and the boat trip to Shipwreck beach was so incredible! It was the most beautiful place I’ve ever experienced ❀

  9. Visited Greek and Croatia islands and coastline this year. Both were great with Croatia being more lush and historical and Greece being more arid and tbe architecture more Arabic or Persian like with white roof less buildings. If you like Greece you will love Croatia.

  10. Your photos are so beautiful πŸ™‚ I love your style (of photography and clothing πŸ™‚ ). Where are those super cute cutoffs from that are in some of your pictures? πŸ™‚

  11. I have a question. How much days you are travelling on this trip? How much days in each one? And, most importantly, what kind of transportation did you use between each island? I really want to know that, please!! I want to go to Greece in September!

  12. I’ve followed you for a while on Instagram and discovered your blog just a few days ago and all I can say is that you really are an amazing photographer! Your pictures are just incredible!
I also have a question: I’m going to Greece with a friend of mine, both 19 yo, this summer and I would like to know which island do you prefer of the ones you’ve visited.
    Thank you!

    1. Hey! I loved all the islands for different things! Santorini- cliff side in Oia speaks for itself, Mykonos streets!! Milos for the adventurous and scenic, Ios for both scenic and night life πŸ™‚

  13. Your photos are amazing (you are an excellent self-teacher!) I enjoyed Paros a few years ago but need to go back for all the other Greecian gems, like Melissani Cave. Do you have a favorite island?

  15. how did you get up that cliff to take such a beautiful photo!!? did you scale it or is there a route? haha love your blog. keep it up xx

  16. Hi,
I love your blog! Found it a couple days ago and have gone to read all your other posts as well. I hope you can answer these questions as it is very important for my upcoming trip to Greece. When you visited the Melissani Cave did you have to stay on the Kefalonia island or did you take a ferry from Zakynthos to get there? How did you get to the cliff side of Shipwreck beach? How did you get to Shipwreck beach? Do you need a tour guide for Melissani Cave? And last, did you fly from island to island? Thank you so much and sorry for all the questions. Keep the blogs coming! Loving them all!

  17. Fantastic pics, great blog. I have been to Greece 4 times over the years and island wise have visited Naxos, Paros, Mykanos, Delos, Ios, Santorini and Rhodes. You have inspired me to go back (yes, twist my arm-lol) and do an extremely comprehensive trip. Along the lines of 2 months and 15-20 islands. I’ll look to journal the trip as well and share the adventure!!! Once again, thank you for your inspiration!!

  18. All your photos are great and it really seems like you did the most vip services in Mykonos .. The waters are so beautiful, My girlfriend likes to rent a boat in Mykonos and boats in the wonderful waters!

    Cheers
