We began our week in Italy with Pizza by the Colleseum in beautiful Rome🍕🍕
Mushroom, tomato and basil was my fav kind of pizza 🌱
Next stop was Vegan Gelato at a place called CamBio Vita, which we found on my favourite website while travelling- Happy Cow. Even the choc dipped waffle cones were vegan, so we went all out! Els on the left got chocolate and banana, and mine on the right was raspberry and basil 🍌
Safe to say we ate our way through Rome 🍦

Next we spent a few days in the sea side towns of Cinque Terre, unfortunately we arrived to wind and rain- not always smooth sailing when travelling! So we spent more time in the restaurants than by the sea- ah well have to come back again 🌊
Next was The romantic Venice.. 🌹
We ate Gelato on the bridges..🍦
And sipped wine down the canals.. 🍷
Next we flew to Paris- the city of Love.. For a job with Air BNB

We spent a long weekend exploring Paris- ‘Like a local’ was the campaign- to try and see more of the unseen attractions of Paris- away from the iconic Eiffel tower, although this can be hard when you can see it from almost anywhere in Paris!
We met with a local photographer who took us around showing us all his favourite spots as a Parisian photographer!
We ate crepes in Montemarte, Croissants by cafes, watched the skyline of the city from the rooftops, roamed the quaint and colourful street of Rue Cremieux, admired the Eiffel tower from Trocadero.

I love your pictures so much! They are all so gorgeous!! I was wondering who takes your pictures for you, how you take your own pictures and what camera equipment you use. Thank you!
Hi, thanks!
My partner Jack and I take all the pictures. And if we are both in then we use a tripod
Hi Lauren,
I follow you since a long time on instagram, and I want to say that I love all your photos ! On them, everything is perfect. I wish I can do the same effect 🙂
When did you start using Lightroom?
Hey! I wrote a comment but for some reason it doesn’t appear on the page. When did you start using Lightroom? Thanks!
Ive been using lightroom for a year and a half 🙂
Photos speak louder than any words. These pictures are amazing! I’ve been following you on Instagram for a while already, and this is the first time I’m checking your website. I love it! You are so inspiring!
Hi Lauren,
I really love the style of your pictures, they really look to be taken by chance and this makes it so authentic!
I was wondering who is taking the pictures of you? Do you use a tripod?
Thank for answer and inspiration <3
Delaia
Hey! yes tripod, or jack or a random by passer 😉
Lauren!! I am obsessed with your photos. I was just wondering wheres that rooftop in paris? It looks sooo coool. Keeep doing what ur doing xx
Thanks! its a hotel 🙂
Your picture are gorgeous ! I definitely loved Cinque Terre, such a magical a bright place full of color and I think Italy might be my favorite country ever. 🙂
Also as a Parisian I see you went to really nice area like the colorful Rue Crémieux. For your next trip there I suggest you to go to “Colonne de Buren” and “Galerie Vivienne” as well. Those place are pretty close from each other and are beautiful.
Thank you for sharing.

You should have said hi during your trip, instagram @mciarlet ,
I could have showed you Parisian
Secrets..
Nice life you have here !
Nice pictures! And you’ve spelled “Montmartre” wrong! 😉
you both integreate so well in Paris 🙂 regards! PedroL
This is so beautifully captured! I’m planning on taking my parents to Paris and Italy and might just mimick your trip! How many days was your itinerary? We can only hope to be so stylish!
Lauren! You and your pictures are stunning! I am an aspiring young photographer myself and am heading off to Europe later this year. After seeing yours and Jacks travel pictures I have been inspired to document my trip from New Zealand to Italy as the basis of my school portfolio! Saying this, I was wondering what camera you predominately used for these images as they are just amazing! Many Thanks!

hello, I really love your photos and I’d like to ask how is it that you appear without shoes in some photos ?? do you go barefoot ?
haha no I just didn’t have any photogenic shoes, so they would come off for the photo! When in beachy places I dont really wear shoes, but of course walking the streets!
It’s not everyday that we get to discuss one of our favorite styles of wine tourism. A chance to view.
🙂
LOVE THESE!! I am going to Paris in May! How do you get in contact and meet up with local photographers? Do you usually work out a collaboration or pay out of pocket for their time?
beautiful photography!!
Beautiful Pictures!! Please keep sharing your travels!!
How did you learn to take such great pictures?

Hi Lauren! Found your photo on theeverygirl.com! I’m going to paris this summer for the first time. Where did you take the photo of you on the steps with the Eiffel tower in the distance? Such an amazing shot!
I want to ask the same question. I’ve seen this photo in several Instagram but not one answered my question. Pls tell us where that steps looking at Eiffel Tower. Thanks!
the photo is taken from the Trocadero Stairs (this pic from the ones on the right side) .. you cannot miss them .. enjoy Paris..
if any other inquiries, do not hesitate to contact me through instagram..
Thank you so much!!! This really helps because I’m going there in October. Thanks again.
Your photos are absolutely stunning and your trip sounds fabulous! What a great experience to be able to spend time in a city as a local, not a tourist!

Love the way you guys use Lightroom edits in your photos. I also love seeing photos of Paris that aren’t your standard photos.

The pictures are incredible and it seems like you two are having so much fun taking them! I fell in love with Cinque Terre, even prettier in reality than the pictures if that is possible – or maybe it’s the too much past and wine after effect?
Love your blog! Feel we are spirit sisters (www.shayspaniolablog.com) – we should collaborate 🙂
Your photos are incredible, can you give any tips on how to improve taking photos? I love photography but in comparison to yours they are pretty average. Everytime I see one of yours i am just insanely jealous of your skills.. any tips would be super appreciated. As always, amazing content xxxx
Unbelievable pictures! We’re headed to Rome, Cique Terra and Paris in May!!! How did you get from Italy to France? Did you rent a car, fly or take a train?
Hello! I was wondering whats the name of the hotel with the rooftop? Love to sit and watch the sunset from there.
